About this image from Ted's blog:

Pt. No Pt. Lighthouse on balmy summer day

Lovely plein air day with the Wednesday Watercolor Group at one of our favorite locations. Many boats fishing for salmon just off the beach, and a great turnout for the painting group.

I looked for an unusual view of the lighthouse from the bird sanctuary to the south. Many eagles were flying overhead, and a variety of smaller birds chirped away in this wonderful habitat.

From Eric and Tanya Clauson:

Dear Anne and Family,

It has been almost seventeen years since you were our neighbors. During almost 54 years of marriage we have never shared the warm and caring relationship with any neighbors that we experienced being your friends and neighbors, friendships that extended to members of our respective families. Anne, we want you to know that it feels once again like we are right next door when we tell you, Erin, Edie and Leigh that we hold you all dear in out hearts and prayers and extend warm hugs during this difficult time. Ted's energy and love of life was so contagious. We have truly missed all of you being in our lives.

We love you dearly, Eric, Tanya, Larisa and Spencer

We will do our very best to join you on July 15th to celebrate Ted's life.

From Hilda's daughter Bev Johnson Montresor:

I have fond memories of “Teddy” from the times I was with my Mom Hilda (lala) at his home in Farmington, CT. I must say I had a crush on him! I was also a little jealous as I felt he was my Mon’s favorite child (sorry Bill and Gus). It is sad to lose such a positive, talented, smiling individual."

Peace,

Bev Johnson Montresor

And Gene.

Hilda in Farmington, CT with the next generation of Hoppin brother's, Bill Jr and Steve Hoppin
